Churchill have been awarded the contract by Uniper to inspect 2 of the 4 198m tall brick lined flues located within the main reinforced concrete windshield at Ratcliffe on Soar power station.

The inspections will be completed remotely by a CCTV camera unit lowered down from the summit of each flue that will be accessed using traditional steeplejack methods including temporary ladders and modular scaffolding.
